I Photographed An Abandoned School in Colorado

In this video, I visit the abandoned Peace Valley School in Morgan County, Colorado. Built in 1911, it acted as a single room school before closing its doors in 1946.

Follow along as I walk you through my composition process and share a glimpse of the structure, inside and out. I was even spooked by a big, white owl (which you'll see in the video) and found myself standing on a massive ant hill trying to capture a photo. Nevertheless, it was a fun adventure and I think I captured some great shots. Let me know which one is your favorite in the comments.

There are many relics of the past throughout the prairies due to the Homestead Act of 1862. Be sure to subscribe and follow along my adventures as I explore and photograph the ones I find.
